Special Initiatives

Building Success Through Connection and Innovation

Our special initiatives are more than just programs—they're bridges to success. By forging strong connections with community partners, we create innovative, tailor-made solutions that address the unique needs of our community, offering programming and activities in collaboration with a diverse network of partners.

We work closely with schools, social organizations, clubs, community-based organizations, cultural institutions, hospitals, senior centers, nursing homes, Indian Nations, elected officials, and local residents to create and deliver programs that make a meaningful impact.

These initiatives are supported in part by key public agencies, including the New York State Council on the Arts, the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development, the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, and the New York City Department of Social Services. Our work is further strengthened by the support of elected officials such as Queensborough President Donovan Richards, State Senator Leroy Comrie, State Assemblywoman Alicia Hyndman, State Assemblywoman Vivian Cook, New York City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams, Council Member Natasha Williams, Council Member Selvena Brooks-Powers and more.

We are proud to collaborate with a robust group of community partners, including the Cultural Collaborative Jamaica, Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning, Jamaica YMCA, A Better Jamaica, Life Camp, Jamaica NAACP, the Nu Omicron Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated and others.

Through these partnerships, we are able to bring innovative and impactful programming to the heart of our community. Together, we’re shaping a brighter future, one partnership at a time.
